International superstar Justin Bieber attempted another shot at his hit single “Boyfriend” last night at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. While we LOVE the remix Justin threw together, paired with brilliant dancing, we are not crazy about the performance, considering it was obvious when Justin was singing and lip=synching. The Billboard Awards are known for more spectacular performances over high quality, but we thought both this performance and Justin’s “The Voice” performance were dismal. Will the prince of pop get his act together soon? At the awards, Carly Rae Jepsen performed her hit “Call Me Maybe” and Taylor Swift won ‘Woman of The Year!’ Check out those under the jump. Nanny Agatha, played by Jennifer Veal, New York City’s most intimidating nanny, first appeared on Disney‘s “Jessie” last month, butting heads with fellow nanny Jessie (Debby Ryan). Now, Agatha’s twin sister Angela is in town, and Jessie suspects she is trying to steal her job and also catch Tony’s eye! Jennifer dished about the episode in her own words:
“Agatha has a twin sister called Angela, which I play both of the characters, and she turns up in Central Park and gets introduced to Jessie. She basically moves in as the live-in maid… And Agatha and [Jessie] actually end up getting together and fight against Angela. I think people are going to enjoy Agatha and Jessie kind of getting along.”
Since Agatha requires Jennifer to wear mounds of make-up, a fake mole, and a snaggletooth, we asked Jennifer if people ever recognize her out on the street:
“No… Not as much, really. I do sometimes get recognized and people will say, very confused, ‘Are you on the television? We recognized you from your voice.’ So if I talk a lot, people sometimes recognize me… but otherwise, no.”
Since Jennifer is now playing both Angela & Agatha, we asked her which she likes better:
“Honestly, to play, Agatha is a lot of fun. It’s so much fun as an actress to just really create a character which is so far from yourself. But then, it is quite nice to be actually able to have makeup put on you rather than just a mole and a snaggletooth. Angela is… it was nice to be able to play someone that looks like myself. But otherwise, I think Agatha is definitely more of a character.”

What an honor! Ronald McDonald House® New York announced that it has appointed Jake T. Austin as the organization’s FIRST EVER youth ambassador spokesperson to provide a new voice for children facing the greatest challenge of their lives as they battle pediatric cancer. Jake will be introduced during the organization’s 20th anniversary gala event on Monday, May 21st at the Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom.

Coming up on the second anniversary of Alison’s disappearance, Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) are thrown back into turmoil after one shocking night in “It Happened ‘That Night’,” the season three premiere of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” premiering Tuesday, June 5th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). Fans can prepare for the return to Rosewood in an all-day marathon starting at 11:00 AM (ET/PT) and running up to the one-hour season premiere at 8:00 PM (ET/PT).
A summer has passed since Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer found out about Mona being “A” and Maya’s death. With the terror seemingly over and an alleged murderer now behind bars, the town of Rosewood is slowly healing from old and new wounds and trying to get back to normalcy. Each of the four girls spent their summer in different ways – Aria taking a photography class, Spencer taking college courses at Hollis, Hanna taking cooking classes with Caleb and Emily building houses in Haiti. But what looks normal for each girl is not necessarily so, as all four are hardly over what happened. With post-traumatic stress, anger and the acquisition of more secrets the four Liars are anything but fine. Now all back together and coming upon the second anniversary of Alison’s disappearance, the girls find themselves back on the defensive when a shocking event rocks Rosewood.
Whew! It was a close call for “Shake It Up” star Roshon Fegan this past week as he was almost eliminated! After dancing the Argentine Tango, Roshon found himself in hot water and was challenged to a dance duel. The loser would be sent home, but luckily Ro made it through! Roshon was also cheered on by fellow “Shake It Up” star Caroline Sunshine, seen in the photo above. Roshon needs your help next week so he doesn’t find himself in the bottom two!
