RYAN ROTTMAN GIGANTIC TALK

Ryan Rottman dishes on the second half of Gigantic and what’s new in 2011 with an organization, Love Is Louder, which he supports.
Gigantic, a new half-hour dramedy, takes a fictional look at the glitzy, chaotic and often hilarious life of being a Hollywood “it” kid. Shot at various locations around Los Angeles, Gigantic features an ensemble cast that includes Grace Gummer and Gia Mantegna as two of the lead characters in the 18-episode series. Set in the world of the Hollywood elite packed with A-list parties and privilege, Gigantic tells a coming-of-age story infused with pop culture fame. It’s not easy being teenagers growing up in the shadow of their parents’ superstar status, and Gigantic skewers the celebrity machine while exposing the humanity and comedy beneath the glamour of Tinseltown. With an insider look behind the tabloids and gossip blogs, the series features an ensemble cast that includes: 17-year-old Anna (Gummer) and her younger brother Walt (Tony Oller), both kids of a famous movie star couple; Anna’s best friend Piper (Jolene Purdy); frenemy Vanessa (Mantegna) and Anna’s boy crush with a big secret Joey (Ryan Rottman).

SNOOP DOGG TO APPEAR ON GIGANTIC THIS WEEK!

This Friday will be amazing! Not one… but TWO new episode of TeenNick‘s “Gigantic“!

9:30 p.m.: “An Awesome Night of Awesomeness” – After listening to Walt’s (Tony Oller) latest song, Anna (Grace Gummer), Finn (Malcolm David Kelley) and Joey (Ryan Rottman) encourage him to give a small, low-key performance in his backyard for their friends. However, Vanessa’s (Gia Mantenga) eagerness to help goes too far and she turns the night into a chaotic event with the paparazzi. Walt’s dad sneaks in a surprise guest to hear Walt’s music. Snoop Dogg guest stars as himself.
10:00 p.m. “Perfect Complications” – Jennifer and Vanessa are spending lots of time together, participating in photo shoots and interviews, which creates tension between Anna and Vanessa.
