Today’s the day: Taylor Lautner‘s new action thriller “Abduction” hits theaters!

Taylor stars as Nathan, a high schooler, who is assigned a project with his secret crush Karen (Lily Collins). Nathan and Karen are browsing a missing person’s website where they come across a picture that seemingly looks identical to a younger Nathan. What happens next is unexpected, as Taylor confronts people he thought were his parents. After a home scuffle, it seems Nathan and Karen must go…. and far away!

Not knowing who to trust or listen to, the duo rely on each other. What was reported as “off-screen chemistry” between the two, (they have been rumored to be dating for a few months now) shows on screen as the two have a steamy moment while aboard a train.

What happens next makes this movie what it is. It’s not just an action flick, where Taylor does most of his own stunts, it’s a thriller! You never know who’s who in the movie and what is on their agenda.

Just as he begins to piece together his true identity, Nathan is targeted by a team of trained killers, forcing him on the run with the only person he can trust, his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins). Every second counts as Nathan and Karen race to evade an army of assassins and federal operatives. But as his opponents close in, Nathan realizes that the only way he’ll survive — and solve the mystery of his elusive biological father — is to stop running and take matters into his own hands.
