“It’s pop…pop music. It’s dance. It’s rock. It’s soul. It’s fun. It’s rad. It’s a mixture…” That’s how 2am Club Guitarist Matt Reagan would describe his band’s music. Vocalist Tyler Cordy adds, “It’s hopefully smart and fun and interesting…. hopefully”
Meet 2am Club. The band is made up of 6 guys I’ve gotten to know through interviews, talking, and most importantly through their music: singer Marc Griffin, emcee Tyler Cordy, guitarist Matt Reagan, keyboard player Dave Dalton, drummer Ian O’Neill and bassist Matt Warshauer, AKA “Sauce”. “I really do just want to make the world better… and different… Just better for the next people and the people now. We’re in a pretty bad state right now, do you know what I mean? So I think just leaving the world better than you found it. I think that’s a perfect mentality to go into it with. If we all have that intention, we can all make things so much better.”
I can honestly say I’ve never been at a loss for words in an interview until I heard Lindsey Shaw tell me what she wanted to do with her life. Shaw plays Kat Stratford, a environmentally conscience go getter, on ABC Family’s hit show “10 Things I Hate About You”. I found out she is quite like the character she plays on TV, plus she’s trying to add a little more “Lindsey” spunk to her television persona. I had the privilege to hang out with Lindsey a couple of weeks back, the night after the show’s premiere. I can honestly say I’ve never been more proud of a celebrity trying to fight for others! Did you know Lindsey wanted to not pursue acting and join the Peace Corps? I think she’s doing a fantastic job on TV and hopefully in the future, Lindsey has the opportunity to change the world like she wants!
Check out this amazing interview with my birthday buddy & “10 Things I Hate About You” star Lindsey Shaw!
Another person I got to meet up with when I was in Los Angeles was “Furry Vengeance” and “High School Musical 3″ star Matt Prokop! Matt and I met up at a Starbucks and he brought along his adorable girlfriend, Sarah Hyland. Matt is really funny and he knows how to have fun! We talked about his new found fame with paparazzi, his hopes to travel, and all about his new movie “Furry Vengeance”!
Tony Oller is not your typical 19-year-old actor “chasing his dream” in Hollywood. After getting a nice jump start on Disney’s “As The Bell Rings” the Texan is transitioning to Nickelodeon, starring in a new show “Gigantic“.
“Gigantic” follows the glitzy, chaotic and often hilarious life of being a Hollywood “it” kid, some with “it” parents. Oller stars as Walt Moore, a kid who doesn’t really appreciate being attached to his last name.
When I met Tony, I expected a little more “LA attitude” but he showed up to our interview with his two friends and as relaxed as ever. He’s easy to get along with, often cracking jokes, and he seems pretty happy with the direction his life is going in. However, he could add a little something more to his resume. In our interview, Tony gushed about how he’d love to be signed to a label. We’ve heard him on Youtube and it surprises us he isn’t! His love and passion for music was exemplified when he told me:
“I’m never going to be one of those guys that sells out. As long as I put out a song that deep-down I know I like, and people on Youtube like, than that’s fine with me.”
We’re putting Tony on our 2010 “Star Watch” list, as we expect him to be the next big thing. He’s got the talent to show, the voice to back it up, and of course, the looks to prove he’s ready for anything.
Stay tuned to MissExclusive.com as we have another Tony video where he answers fan questions from twitter!
I sat down with “Gigantic” star Tony Oller. Here’s a few ways you can find Tony news! Keep checking MissExclusive.com to see an exclusive interview with Tony!
