Today’s the day: Taylor Lautner‘s new action thriller “Abduction” hits theaters!

Taylor stars as Nathan, a high schooler, who is assigned a project with his secret crush Karen (Lily Collins). Nathan and Karen are browsing a missing person’s website where they come across a picture that seemingly looks identical to a younger Nathan. What happens next is unexpected, as Taylor confronts people he thought were his parents. After a home scuffle, it seems Nathan and Karen must go…. and far away!

Not knowing who to trust or listen to, the duo rely on each other. What was reported as “off-screen chemistry” between the two, (they have been rumored to be dating for a few months now) shows on screen as the two have a steamy moment while aboard a train.

What happens next makes this movie what it is. It’s not just an action flick, where Taylor does most of his own stunts, it’s a thriller! You never know who’s who in the movie and what is on their agenda.

What are you waiting for?! Get to the theaters right now!! Abduction was simply amazing. Don’t judge Taylor for his previous… werewolf-y… roles in movies. This is nothing like that. This one is a must-see that keeps you on the edge of your seat all movie!

The event was held at Nickelodeon’s Animation Studio in Burbank, California. Founded in 2001, Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the magic of movies to children who are confined to hospitals nationwide due to chronic and life-threatening illnesses. To bring these special children a feeling of having their own movie “premiere”, Lollipop rolls out the red carpet, hands out movie tickets, offers refreshments and features guest appearances by the stars of the films whenever possible. 2010 saw an impressive 175 hospital visits to 37 hospitals across the country and 2011 has already completed 42 hospital visits reaching over 700 deserving patients and family members.

“Season 3 is, in my opinion, one of the most memorable seasons of the three season span so far”

Brandon Smith is hilarious. We had the opportunity to sit down with him and talk about the new season of his hit Disney television show “Sonny With A Chance“. It looked as though the show was not going to continue when Brandon’s co-star Demi Lovato hit a snag in her own life, checking into a rehabilitation facility. Without their star, how was the show going to continue?

The answer was simple and was sitting right in front of the producer’s faces. Instead of basing the show off of Sonny and her show, why not take the show and make that the full-time focus. In doing that, they hired two new writers, with resumes of writing on Saturday Night Live, and allow kids to do what they do best: laugh. Brandon told us they are really pushing the limit this season… with no jokes off limits!
