Trace Cyrus may be known around Hollywood as Miley‘s big brother or the lead singer of the now defunct band Metro Station, but he’s paving his way solo these days. Besides his wildly successful Southern Made Hollywood Paid clothing line, Trace is the frontman of a new project: his band Ashland High. The band will be making their debut on February 24th at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. They will then be taking the stage again on February 26th at The Roxy Theatre in W. Hollywood, California before hitting the stage across the country. The video above is the band’s first single “Jealous Lover”. Nickelodeon starlet Victoria Justice is the new face and spokesperson for the 2012 Donate My Dress campaign. Designed to help less fortunate teens get special occasion dresses for their proms, Sweet 16 parties and Quinceañeras, the campaign encourages girls to donate gently used dresses to their local chapters. Victoria says:

“I’m really excited to be a part of the Donate My Dress organization. Prom can be really expensive; this program is an easy way for girls everywhere to get involved and help other girls in need.”

Justice is donating a dress of her own — the Jill Stuart mini she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music awards (above) — and hoping others follow suit. Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Brittany Snow have donated some of their special occasion dresses in the past, too.

In conjunction with the dress drive, Donate My Dress is partnering with Always for its annual Purple Dress Awards, which recognize the most outstanding local chapters in the DonateMyDress.org network. Always will donate $1 for every girl who visits its Facebook page and shares her favorite prom dress style — up to $25,000 — and ultimately give $5,000 to five deserving Donate My Dress chapters to use for dry cleaning, mending, dress drives and more. The grants will be announced in an award ceremony in LA, which will air on NBC (this Saturday, Dec.10th). So in addition to the money, there’s a pretty special moment…

Teen queen Miley Cyrus has always been one to lend a hand… and her voice… to a cause she supports! Last night, Miley lent her voice to a cause close to her: The Trevor Project! Miley sang her hit song “The Climb” to a theater full of supporters. Check out the song above.

Miley Cyrus took a trip to Haiti recently to help out those less fortunate. While Miley is in the country, she’ll be teaming up with Starkey Hearing Foundation to aid citizens who have lost their hearing.
