The Microsoft IE team partnered with pop music sensation and one of our faves Jasmine Villegas to create an entirely new INTERACTIVE twist on music videos in the online remix of her hit song, “Just a Friend.” The new video, available right HERE, is the first to bring together a host of exciting interactive features into one online experience, all powered by HTML5. Some of the coolest aspects is that you can control the outcome of the video – from helping Jasmine keep tabs on her boyfriend (you can push him in the pool) to “bowling” and even dancing with her. It wraps with a phone call from Jasmine herself. After watching the video, fans can dial their own number from her phone on the site to have a brief “conversation” with her – a conversation that changes based on what they did during the video. There’s full integration with Facebook, so photos and info from a viewer’s FB page (if they sign in to their account) appear throughout the experience.

At the Drawing Hope event, Jasmine revealed to the audience that she had been in a relationship where she was a victim of domestic violence. Actor and musician Jimmy Bennett sure had a rockin’ sweet 16! The multi-talented star showed off his music ability in front of his friends and family, that included a guest list of other stars like “American Idol” star Lee Dewyze, singer Jasmine V, “Big Time Rush” cutie Ciara Bravo, “Bucket & Skinner’s” stars Taylor Gray and Dillon Lane, and many more!

Party guests enjoyed hanging out at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, California while watching musical performances from Ashlee Keating and Jasmine V. After the girls, Jimmy took the stage to a thunderous applause. After performing a fantastic set AND an encore performance, the crowd took their turn in serenading the rockstar with “Happy Birthday.”
