Actor Collins Pennie will appear in the lead role of “Malik” in the much anticipated MGM movie Fame, which will be released this Friday, September 25. In the movie, Collins gives a memorable performance as a poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks, who lands a scholarship to a performing arts school. In addition, to acting in the story, Collins also performs 4 cuts on the Fame soundtrack and collaborated on the Fame theme song that he and his co-star Naturi Naughton both perform on and they are also featured in the video. The Fame remix theme song is currently burning its way up the Billboard Dance Charts!

In addition, Collins’ single “Dirty Martini” recently debuted on Power 106 a couple of weeks ago! The song is produced by DJ Felli Fell and is currently the highest requested song on the station, which is LA’s #1 hip hop and r&b station.
