Hailing from her hometown, Chicago, IL, 19-year-old creator of MissExclusive.com, Caitlin Staniec, is no new face to the industry. Grabbing her first interview opportunity at the young age of 15, Caitlin scheduled over 10 interviews for her high school’s radio station, Glenbrook South’s WGBK, in her first 2 years of high school. In high school career, Caitlin went on to earn the prestigious John Drury Award for “Best Sportscast” and the Senior Broadcasting Award, both shining awards that went along with her four time “Best Music Journalist” award. But it wasn’t until the hit Disney movie, High School Musical, went on tour to make Caitlin see the light of her future.
“Sitting on that tour bus, eating marshmallows and watching Drew Seeley drink a chocolate shake as the snow outside continued to fall… That was it. The moment. Everything just clicked. I want to do this for the rest of my life. And how many people can say at the age of 17, a junior in high school, they knew what they were going to do for the rest of their life?”
Following that interview for radio, Caitlin continued booking artists such as Drake Bell, Jordan Pruitt and the Jonas Brothers. It was in her senior year, after her second Jonas Brothers encounter, when she realized she couldn’t rely on high school radio to get her places… when she was no longer in high school. Not wanting to give up her passion as she left school, she came up with an idea. Sitting down with her future business partner, her father Gary, Caitlin convinced him to pay for a website to hold all of her future interviews and behind- the- scenes videos. After going through many rejected names, Gary came up with Miss Exclusive, and the name stuck. Joining forces with V- Factory, Menudo and Mark & James, the first MissExclusive.com video interviews came out.

After graduating high school, Caitlin went on to learn other editing programs and created a template for her new online webisodes. Each interview she hosts normally comes in three parts: a teaser, the actual interview and a behind-the-scenes videos. She currently attends a university in Milwaukee, WI where she plays college basketball, runs this site, and is a Young Life leader.
Caitlin’s other interests include playing basketball, Long Walks On The Beach, going to concerts, updating her Twitter, swimming, sitting in Starbucks, traveling and reading. She employs her entire family (paying them with eternal gratitude). Her father, Gary, and mother, Carol, help Caitlin with contracts and financing. Her older brother, Garrett, is in charge of promotional material and security, by standing tall and looking intimidating.
Caitlin works along side two great friends, Lisa and Miriam. Lisa is a 19-year-old journalist (focusing on new music and movies) with an undecided major at a university in Milwaukee, WI. Caitlin and Lisa met in 2008 on a visit to their future college. Miriam is an 18-year-old journalist (focusing on concert reviews and music) with an undecided major at Harper College in Palatine, IL. Caitlin and Miriam met in 2004, on their birthday (they are exactly one year apart), at a Jesse McCartney concert.
